James T. Bolte

James (Jim) Bolte is group vice president for manufacturing efficiency at Toyota’s North American PE & Manufacturing Center in Georgetown, Ky. He supports manufacturing cost competitiveness and the alignment of standards and policies across Toyota’s North American manufacturing facilities.
Prior to his current assignment, Bolte was president of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama, Inc. (TMMAL), located in Huntsville, Ala., where he was responsible for production and administration of the facility that manufactures four, six and eight-cylinder engines for Toyota’s North American manufacturing plants.
Bolte has previously held positions as vice president of manufacturing at TMMAL and as vice president of information systems at Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing, North America, Inc. (TEMA) in Erlanger, Ky. Additionally, he was assistant general manager of the corporate administration office at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc. (TMMK) in Georgetown and the manager of information systems at TMMK.
Before joining TMMK, Bolte held the position of systems engineer with Ashland Oil Incorporated in Ashland and Lexington, Ky.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in electronic data processing from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky.
