John (Al) Hossack
Canadian Auto Parts Toyota, Inc. (CAPTIN)
Al Hossack is president of Canadian Auto Parts Toyota, Inc. (CAPTIN), located in Delta, British Columbia. CAPTIN is responsible for die design, development and manufacturing of aluminum wheel products for Toyota in North America.
Hossack joined CAPTIN in 1985 as a production team member and was promoted to a number of supervisory roles including assistant general manager of production and manufacturing divisions where he was responsible for production and maintenance activities.
Hossack has spent time in numerous supervisory roles at other Toyota manufacturing facilities including TABC, Inc., Toyota’s first North American manufacturing plant located in Long Beach, California, where he was assistant general manager, and at Bodine Aluminum, Toyota’s foundry operation, at their Troy, Missouri, and Jackson, Tennessee, facilities as plant manager.
A native of Canada, Hossack received his operations management degree in 1991 from British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver, B.C.
