David Christ is the vice president of Sales at Toyota Financial Services (TFS).
Mr. Christ is responsible for maximizing finance and lease contract volume while managing credit quality and delivering on sales objectives. He works closely with key stakeholders, including Toyota and Lexus dealers nationally and the Toyota and Lexus divisions. He reports to Mike Wells, group vice president of Sales, Marketing, Product Development and International Operations.
Since joining Toyota in 1994, Mr. Christ served in a number of managerial and leadership positions at the regional sales offices and Toyota Motor Sales Corporate Headquarters (TMS). In addition to serving as general manager of the New York Region, he was general manager of the Lexus Southern Area and the assistant general manager of the Los Angeles Region. He also held various management positions in the Central Atlantic Regional office, as well as worked at TMS in the sales, distribution operations and customer retention departments.
Prior to joining Toyota, Mr. Christ gained valuable retail automotive experience at a Toyota dealership in New Jersey. He worked in the service and sales departments.
Mr. Christ received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania, and his MBA from the University of Maryland. He is currently a Board Member on the California Chamber of Commerce, and he held a board position on the Toyota and Lexus PAC.
