Cooper Ericksen is vice president of vehicle marketing and communications for Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc. His responsibilities include developing product marketing strategies and creative assets, product life-cycle management and the Toyota Dealer Association.
Prior to his current role, Ericksen was the corporate manager of vehicle marketing and communications where he was responsible for van, crossover utility vehicles and advanced technology vehicles.
Before his role as corporate manager, Ericksen was general manager of Toyota’s Boston Region. Ericksen was responsible for sales, marketing, parts and service, customer service, market representation and vehicle supply for Toyota in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Ericksen began his career with TMS in 1991 and has held a variety of positions in many regional offices around the country as well as TMS’ Headquarters in Torrance, Calif. After holding many different positions in the Central Atlantic Toyota Region, he was promoted to the Camry product manager and the sales administration manager at TMS’ Headquarters. He then went on to be the customer service operations manager, and vehicle operations manager in the San Francisco Region before becoming the assistant general manager at the Portland Region.
Ericksen has a technical degree from the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Ore.
