Andrew Lund is the chief engineer for the Toyota Sienna program at Toyota Technical Center (TTC) headquartered in Saline, Mich. TTC is Toyota’s North American R&D center and a division of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing, N.A. Inc. (TEMA).
As chief engineer for Sienna, Lund is responsible for overall design and engineering development of the Toyota Sienna vehicle from concept to production.
Lund joined TTC in 1994 as a senior engineer in the Materials Engineering Department’s Paint and Anti-corrosion Group, and was promoted to manager in 1997. He transferred to the Product Development Office in 2000, joining the Sienna team as program manager, and was promoted to executive program manager for Sienna in 2004.
Prior to joining TTC, Lund served as an international account manager for Henkel Corporation in their Henkel Surface Treatments group and Teroson Automotive Products group.
