David Nordstrom is vice president for Lexus Asia Pacific for Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), USA, Inc. His responsibilities include marketing support, product planning, training (brand, product and sales) and guest experience strategy in Lexus Asia Pacific markets.
Prior to his current role, Nordstrom was global branding department general manager for Lexus International, Tokyo, Japan, responsible for leading Lexus global brand strategy and coordinating global branding activities throughout the global Lexus network. He also served as sales and marketing planning department general manager for Lexus International.
Prior to his international roles, Nordstrom was vice president of social media for TMS, responsible for leading efforts to develop and coordinate social media strategies across divisions in North American affiliates, vice president of Lexus marketing, responsible for all Lexus marketing activities, and vice president of product and marketing for Toyota Financial Services (TFS), overseeing the product development and marketing for TFS’ insurance and finance products.
Nordstrom began his career with Toyota in 1990 and has held several management positions including corporate manager of business process and technology, corporate manager of product, remarketing and brand, corporate manager of TFS’ Western Region, and corporate manager of product and marketing.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
