Patricia Pineda is group vice president of Hispanic business strategy for North America. 

Pineda is responsible for engaging with the Hispanic business and media communities and building a network of Toyota Associates and Team Members across the region to optimize relationships with important external Hispanic groups.

Pineda also leads the newly-formed Hispanic Business Strategy Group (HBSG), which focuses on strengthening Toyota's already existing ties to this valued community.  The HBSG aims to raise Latinos' awareness of the Toyota, Lexus and Scion brands, and maintaining Toyota's number one brand position through continued outreach within the Latino community.

Pineda brings vast experience to her role having most recently served as the head of the Toyota U.S.A. Foundation, overseeing national philanthropy efforts. 

Pineda joined TMA in September 2004 as group vice president of corporate communications and general counsel.

Prior to joining TMA, Pineda spent twenty years at New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI), the corporate joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation and General Motors Corporation, where she served as vice president of human resources, government and legal affairs and corporate secretary.

Pineda currently serves as on the Board of Directors for Levi Strauss & Co., Inc., and she is a Corporate Advisory Board Member for National Council De La Raza and Catalyst.  She is an Advisory Trustee for The Rand Corporation, and a Member of The Conference Board’s Contributions Council and Executive Committee as well as the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship’s Executive Forum. 

Pineda received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mills College and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
